The 4th General Membership Meeting (GMM) of the Bataan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc ( BACCII) marked the launching of “Bataan Business Awards” held last November 23 at the Crown Royale Hotel in Balanga City.

In his report, BACCII President Mr John Calugay said that the Bataan Business Award, amplifies the growing realization of triumph over adversity in business especially during the pandemic, and they would like to celebrate among businessmen in Bataan, fostering excellence, growth and collaborations. He also said that these awards will further elevate recognition, healthy competition, stimulate economic development and create a platform to enhance the chamber’s profile and at the same time, enhance the business ecosystem in Bataan. Awards include, Entrepreneur of the year award; Small Business Excellence Award; Innovation Champion Award; Social Responsibility Award; Emerging Business Star Award; Women in Business Award and Family Business Legacy Award. Nomination of candidates starts now and awarding will be on January 2024 during Bataan Foundation day.

Also held during the launching of the Bataan Business Award was a talk on, ” Unlocking Success: A Deep Dive into Understanding Business Excellence” by the well-known motivational speaker, the Entrep Champ, Mr Paulo Tibig, a full-blooded Bataeño, who worked his way up in the business ladder.
